The Friendliest State

20 May

I just discovered that the #1 search reason/phrase for finding this blog is the term “friendliest state.”  Interesting.  Either people have heard that North Dakota has been named the friendliest state, or they’re looking for travel places where they can feel right at home.  So you may be wondering how we can call ourselves that.  It all started with a pyschological profile of the U.S. states, done by Cambridge University and announced last fall.  They called us the friendliest and well … we can’t disagree.  According to our own visitor research, North Dakota exceeds the nation in having warm, friendly people, offering safety in tourist areas, and a whole lot of other great qualities!  Visit and see for yourself why we call our hospitality so legendary.

Don’t believe the Cambridge study? Just take a look at the “warm” stories being submitted by visitors to North Dakota!

It’s true! North Dakotans are so nice that it is ridiculous at times! A great place to visit indeed.
