I can’t believe I haven’t “talked” your ear off yet about all the golf courses that are open in North Dakota. Right now it’s a much shorter list to tell you which courses aren’t open – I think there might be a handful still shaking off winter. From Fargo to Medora, Grand Forks to Wishek – courses are open and rounds are being played. Have you dusted off your clubs yet?
North Dakota has a lot of notable courses. We’re known for having the most courses per capita than any other state and having some of the most affordable play a golfer can find. In Bismarck-Mandan, there are seven courses in the immediate area. There’s one course in particular that I think is super cool. It’s the Wee Links Golf Course in Minot – also known as the Jack Hoeven Junior Course.
This course has nine holes varying in length from 100 to 150 yards. And the best part – it’s $1.00 a round for kids. Except for Fridays. Kids under 12 play for free on Fridays. Adults can play too – so bring your clubs and your camera. Get out there and enjoy!
