First, a thank you with a side of stats. Thank you to all of our visitors and fans! You helped North Dakota defy the national downturn in tourism last year. Theodore Roosevelt National Park had a 15% increase in visitation and North Dakota’s accommodations industry was the only one in the nation to make a year-over-year profit. Non-residents spent $4.13 billion in North Dakota in 2008 – making tourism the #3 industry in the state.
Here’s the contest scoop: This week, share your North Dakota story with photos and/or videos and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a Trail of Legends Tour for two (redeemable through 2011). Get the scoop at NDtourism.com and enter the contest at RULegendary.com.
Are you an amateur photographer living in North Dakota? If so, we’ve got another contest for you! Cash, publicity and a one-year basic membership to AAA are calling your name. Online submissions are also being taken this year.
At 11 a.m. (central time zone) on May 11 – join our virtual rally on Facebook. More t-shirts are up for grabs!
