Get your heart racing this Halloween season – with a “spooktacular” trip to North Dakota! It’s even a full-moon – so double the thrill at the Haunted Fort – where legend says the spirit of Libbie Custer (Lt. Col. George Custer’s widow) torments the rebuilt “Custer House” at Fort Abraham Lincoln, south of Mandan. Open weekends thru October 30. Watch the trailer:
The Legends of Terror will be haunting the Grand Forks County Historical Society buildings and grounds, October 29 and 30. A “half-pint” haunt will be open for trick-or-treating at the Myra Museum on the 31st.
A special HOWL-oween event will take place October 23 and 24 at the Red River Zoo in Fargo. Treats, costume contest, crafts … and do not miss the cockroach races and creepy critters.
More on corn mazes, parades, trick-or-treating events and REAL haunting experiences can be found at NDtourism.com. And stay tuned for episode information on a North Dakota location to be featured in an upcoming episode of Ghost Labs on the Discovery Channel.
