Honoring Veterans and Veteran’s Day in North Dakota

09 Nov

North Dakota Tourism is applauding our homegrown heroes this month and the military attractions unique to North Dakota.  In honor of Veteran’s Day (November 11) and the brave men and women who have served there will be free admission at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, two World War II exhibits will be opening at the Chateau de Mores in Medora, and a special ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on November 11 at the Heritage Center in Bismarck.

Numerous communities will pay tribute with additional Veteran’s Day events.  See the November press release for great ideas to enjoy November in North Dakota.

Always good to see somebody honoring and respecting veterans with the dignity they deserve. The R.I. Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association just started their Veterans Day Tribute by throwing 3 Vietnam vets out of their chapter 9/1. These Nam vets were thrown out for standing up for a Vietnam combat veteran who was refused membership in the CVMA because the state rep made up false accusations and the national pres chose to back lies. Thought the days of judging and disrespecting the Vietnam vet were over but I guess I was wrong. TYVM for respecting veterans and TY for letting this PO’D vet vent…..
