Josh Duhamel and Fergie celebrating Christmas in Fargo

Celebrating Christmas in Fargo this weekend?  You might want to keep one eye open for some celebrity sightings.  On a recent episode of Ryan Seacreat’s radio show, pop singer Fergie (of the Black Eyed Peas) talked about spending Christmas in Fargo with her husband Josh Duhamel and his family.  “I’m going to go make snow angels and a big snowman and be a big fish out of water,” Fergie said.

Indeed, the celebrity couple (Duhamel is originally from Minot and appeared this year in the movies “When in Rome,” “Ramona and Beezus” and “Life as We Know It”) will find a white Christmas in Fargo with options to enjoy the season.  Local skating rinks are open, nearby ski area Bear’s Den is opening on Dec. 26 and the Holiday Lights drive in Lindenwood Park runs through Dec. 30.  They could even take in a film at the historic Fargo Theatre.  We hope they enjoy their holiday in Fargo … and we hope YOU enjoy your holidays in North Dakota, or wherever you might be celebrating!

North Dakotan Josh Duhamel has new movie opening Friday

If a date night is on the agenda for the weekend, consider checking out the new movie:  When In Rome.  This is a romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel, who meet at a wedding in Rome and adventure ensues.

Here in North Dakota, we are BIG fans of Duhamel.  (*swoon*)  This Hollywood hottie is originally from Minot, North Dakota – in fact, he owns a restaurant there, 10 North Main.  He attended Minot State University, majoring in biology, before being scouted by a modeling agency.

Duhamel starred in the TV series Las Vegas and the two Transformers movies.  He is married to singer Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.

Duhamel is making the PR rounds this week in promotion of When In Rome.  He’s appearing this morning on Live with Regis and Kelly.
