Name That Buffalo Contest

03 Mar

Jamestown, North Dakota is home to a very cool Frontier Village and a National Buffalo Museum that has its own herd including three rare, albino buffalo.  Jamestown is also home to the World’s Largest Buffalo – which stands more than 26 feet high and 46 feet long.  This unique attraction was built in 1959 and hasn’t had a name that entire time.

The Buffalo City Tourism Foundation has launched a “Name That Buffalo” contest.  The contest runs through April 15.  For information on how to enter visit www.namethatbuffalo.com.  The winning name will be announced this summer and the winning entry will receive a cash award.
